Whaaaa?! Billionaire Jacob Schmitt?
I am shocked and horrified that anyone would do something so crazy and irresponsible as that.
As far as I know, both his parents are alive
Even so, running around in a costume fighting crime when a man of his wealth should be setting a responsible example in society is just unacceptable.
I know, tell me about it. That kind of thing just gives billionaires a bad name. People are going to start thinking we're all like that!
You're a millionaire, the other two are billionaires.
Ouch. Did you really have to rub it in? It's not like Bruce doesn't remind me all the time already. :(
Will Danny Rand have the final word?
Funnally enough I'm so used to simply Iron Fist, and not his actual name, I had to look up what you were on about. You probably would have walked out in confusion at this point, while Bruce, Tony, and Oliver went on about not being superheroes and vigilantes. Who knows what Danny would do. If we're talking about the live action version of Danny, he would probably go on and on about being the Immortal Iron Fist as the comic version looked at him shame.
"Billionaires", huh? That's....nice for you. :D
T'Challa aka Black Panther aka owner of 10,000 tons of Vibranium @ $10,000/gram = $90.7 *trillion* dollars
according to marvel wikia
for reference, the GDP of the entire (real) world economy is about $75 trillion

They're the million and billionaires T'Challa. I have five bucks. Not really nice for me or anyone else.
That reminds me: can I borrow 5 bucks? I'll totally pay it back next week. ;)
more to the point, the folks at marvel clearly don't understand economics, or supply and demand, or math, or a lot of other things, it seems. sure, $10,000/g might be the incremental price for the first gram you sell, because you have created artificial scarcity by limiting supply / hoarding, but as you sell more and increase the supply, offering price will rapidly go down dramatically. once it becomes apparent you intend to sell all of it, the price will plummet. While there is no way to predict exactly what the slope of that line is, it is unlikely you could get even a single trillion - probably only a fraction of it. That's probably lucky for you. If it were really worth more than the world's gdp, you would be invaded twice a week (and not just by minor nations either) for the rest of time, and you would have internal rebellions 5x a week trying to get a hold of even a tiny fraction of it, and no amount of superheros or magic technology would be able to keep it safe. Not to mention you would be a pretty horrible person if you didn't use that mount of wealth to single-handedly cure world poverty.
