Mighty Hercules
One of my earliest memories is that of being a Hercules fan. The Mighty Hercules series was my Saturday morning cartoon for years and even though I had probably watched every episode a dozen times, I would keep watching it.
I have memories of fashioning a power ring from twist ties and going to my older-cousin’s house where she was hanging out with her school friends and I would hold my fist out and make thunder noises as the great Zeus would imbue me with the powers of an Olympian demi-god. Needless to say, I was mocked endlessly for this behaviour.
Sure, it was the 80s and the cartoon was made in the 60s… and yes, all the monsters sounded the same (it’s my new ringtone)… but there’s something about a Greek god hanging out with a centaur and satyr defending Prince Dorian and Helena from evil witches and wizards.

I love getting fan art. It’s wonderful to see that someone has dedicated their time and effort out of their busy schedule and made something special. If you’d like to submit some Legendary Woodsman art, please contact me.
